FEES for Hospitals

Dysphagia View 360 is the premiere Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) company, owned and operated by a Texas licensed and certified speech-language pathologists, offering bedside FEES procedures to patients of hospitals, acute care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, home health settings, and ENT offices.

We bring our equipment to you. Our specialized equipment is the FEES Mobile System, which includes a state-of-the-art scope, high definition camera, and medical software. The results are immediate. When the twenty minute procedure is complete, we print the extensive FEES report and place the medical documentation in the medical chart along with still photos or a DVD of the procedure. This rapid result allows for us to speak directly with the facilities staff speech-language pathologist, to discuss dietary issues and recommendations.

FEES vs MBSS

FEES has demonstrated a sensitivity equal to or greater than MBSS in determining whether a patient is exhibiting penetration, aspiration, delay in swallowing initiation and pharyngeal residue. Additionally, FEES provides visualizations of pharyngeal secretions that cannot be detected during an MBSS.
